As a Business Development Representative, you will identify, qualify, and nurture prospects into sales-qualified leads and distribute the opportunities to our sales team.
The prospects you will be responsible for are enterprise companies and SMBs from various business domains that could benefit from Velvetech services.
You must become an expert in our services, solutions, and completed projects to easily match them with clients needs and communicate the value during the prospect nurturing and decision-making process.
Responsibilities
Generate sales-qualified leads
Conduct research to identify potential prospects, develop segmented contact lists
Assess prospect’s pain points, needs, and constraints
Develop and maintain relationships with prospects
Manage lead nurturing campaigns
Support multi-channel communication strategy – phone calls, conference calls, personal emails, email campaigns, social networking, messengers
Continually improve the knowledge base to educate potential customers on our company’s services and solutions
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and performance results
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in customer prospecting, marketing or sales for IT and software industry
Experience with outbound B2B sales and marketing techniques
Superior oral and written communication skills
Strong over-the-phone and online presentation skills
Ability to identify the key business needs of a prospect and utilize consultative selling approach to demonstrate the value of our company
Results-oriented, ability to execute a plan
Fluent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Exel, PowerPoint. Experience with HubSpot and Creatio is preferred
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
