The client is a digital investment firm targeting global investors and asset managers across the crypto and traditional finance sectors.

The Client’s Request

The client aimed to create a digital real estate investment platform that bridges on-chain finance with real-world assets. They needed a flexible infrastructure capable of supporting tokenized products such as property-backed tokens, debt instruments, and fund shares. Ensuring full compliance with KYC/AML regulations was one of the most critical requirements, along with providing a transparent and user-friendly experience for investors and fund managers.

Besides the listed above, the client wanted the investment process to be stablecoin-based, starting with USDC, and designed with cross-chain compatibility to support future asset classes. The platform had to allow phased deployment, starting with an MVP and scaling over time.

At its core was a tokenization engine that supported ERC-20 assets, fixed-income tokens, and wrapped instruments, built to handle a wide range of real-world assets. We also implemented a smooth and compliant investor onboarding flow with wallet binding, ID checks, and whitelist logic, ensuring only verified participants could access investment opportunities.

Investment Marketplace Delivery

We designed a clean, intuitive investment marketplace where users can browse tokenized products through interactive product cards, track live performance data, and engage via referral mechanics. Behind the scenes, the admin panel equips the platform team with full control over listing setup, transaction history, and user activity monitoring. To empower decision-making, we added real-time analytics daчshboards that provide a clear view into TVL, investor flow, and pool performance.

All payments within the tokenized property investment platformf were structured around USDC, with optional fiat ramps and Ethereum support built in. Smart contracts, developed with OpenZeppelin libraries, were designed to be secure, upgradeable, and audit-friendly from the start, laying the groundwork for a scalable and compliant investment ecosystem.

Result

Velvetech delivered the MVP in under four months, enabling the client to move quickly from concept to market. Just within the first quarter after launch, the KYC/AML real estate investment platform successfully onboarded its first tokenized products, including fractional real estate assets and private credit offerings.

Equipped with a built-in compliance framework that supports legal structures like Delaware and BVI, the platform also features multisig security, role-based access control, and smart contracts engineered for audits and future upgrades. With this solid foundation in place, the system is now ready to evolve toward DAO governance, integrate with RWA custodians, support cross-chain assets, and introduce token-based fundraising along with a secondary market.
